Hot days, warm nights for Oklahoma

High temperatures could reach triple digits in Oklahoma as a midweek heat wave continues.

The National Weather Service said Wednesday will be mostly sunny statewide, with highs in the mid-90s to around 100 degrees. Lows are expected in the mid-60s to mid-70s under clear skies Wednesday night.

More sunshine is forecast for Thursday, with highs expected to be in the mid- to upper 90s.

Friday is expected to remain warm despite a chance for showers and thunderstorms stretching from southwestern to northeastern Oklahoma. High temperatures are forecast in the low to mid-90s.

More rain is possible before sunrise Saturday, when temperatures are again expected to reach into the low to mid-90s.
