County preparing to send city its first bill for inmates

The new year will start with a new bill for the city of Tulsa.

The Sheriff’s Office intends to charge the city at least $93,699 for housing its municipal prisoners in the Tulsa Jail during the month of December, records provided by the Sheriff’s Office indicate.

Through noon Wednesday, city of Tulsa municipal prisoners had spent a total of 1,731 days in the jail in December
