Arrest made in Eakly bank robbery
HYDRO — A Hydro man was arrested Friday night, accused of robbing the Bank of Hydro in Eakly on Thursday afternoon. Robert Gene Pigg Jr., 26, was arrested this evening without incident, FBI Special Agent Gary Johnson wrote in a news release. Pigg may face federal bank robbery charges, Johnson said. He is accused of pointing a rifle at bank employees, stealing money and fleeing the scene in a pickup, Johnson said.
Man dies in Harrah after falling from pickup bed
HARRAH — A man died when he fell from the back of a pickup tonight, authorities said. The man was riding in the bed of a pickup along State Highway 62 near Church Avenue when he fell, said Mark Myers, Oklahoma County sheriff’s spokesman. He was pronounced dead at the scene, Myers said. The man’s name was not released Friday night.
Jury awards $675K in Boston music downloading case
A federal jury on Friday ordered a Boston University graduate student who admitted illegally downloading and sharing music online to pay $675,000 to four record labels. ImagesView Larger Image Joel Tenenbaum, of Providence, R.I., admitted in court that he downloaded and distributed 30 songs.
Singer Andre accepts damages
Singer Peter Andre has accepted "substantial" damages over a newspaper claim he was unfaithful to his estranged wife, model Katie Price. Speaking outside London’s High Court, he said he was "pleased" the Sunday People accepted that the story, printed in May, was "untrue and hurtful". "I have never been unfaithful to my wife – not with this girl, or any other girl," the 36-year-old said. Mr Andre split from Price in May, after three-and-a half years of marriage.

Fast-Growing Firefox Tops One Billion Downloads
The Mozilla Foundation’s open-source Firefox browser passed the one billion download mark on Friday. That includes the latest 3.5 version back to the first release in 2004. About 11 a.m. Eastern time, a counter maintained by Otto de Voogd estimated the number of downloads at 1.0033 billion while spreadfirefox.com pegged the number at 1.004 billion.
