HYDRO — A Hydro man was arrested Friday night, accused of robbing the Bank of Hydro in Eakly on Thursday afternoon. Robert Gene Pigg Jr., 26, was arrested this evening without incident, FBI Special Agent Gary Johnson wrote in a news release. Pigg may face federal bank robbery charges, Johnson said. He is accused of pointing a rifle at bank employees, stealing money and fleeing the scene in a pickup, Johnson said.
HARRAH — A man died when he fell from the back of a pickup tonight, authorities said. The man was riding in the bed of a pickup along State Highway 62 near Church Avenue when he fell, said Mark Myers, Oklahoma County sheriff’s spokesman. He was pronounced dead at the scene, Myers said. The man’s name was not released Friday night.
